Board and Train Program

Some dogs may only need a shorter program for obedience and structure, while more severe behavioral issues may require additional training and follow-through at home. During your evaluation, we’ll provide honest, realistic expectations and recommend for the program length that best fits your dog’s specific needs and goals. 

Choosing between programs depends on your goals, your dog’s needs, and how much time you have available for training outside of sessions. In-home lessons require more owner involvement, homework, and solidifying skills between sessions, while Board and Train programs focus on daily structure, repetition, and reinforcing behaviors through consistent training handled by our team. Once your dog returns home from a B&T program, it’s important for owners to continue the structure and training that was established during the program. During your evaluation, we’ll help recommend the best fit for you and your dog.

When your dog comes home from a Board and Train program, you’ll go through a detailed go-home lesson where we teach you how to properly handle, communicate with, and maintain your dog’s training. Training does not stop once your dog goes home, consistency, structure, and follow-through from the owner are essential for long-term success. Our goal is not only to train your dog, but also to give you the tools and knowledge needed to continue reinforcing everything your dog has learned.
